    Default help!help!

    Hello,all,
    i have a serious problem,when i feel sad or meet something bad,i'll eat too much,the result you can guess.how can we relax ourselves except eating?

    Unhappy I Agree!!!

    Hey sweets!!! There's nothing like a fine box of turtles to calm my nerves! Or nacho cheese tortilla chips and cream cheese....MMmmmmmmmm! NO, NO, and NO!!! LOL. There are many things that you can do such as a favorite hobby, exercise, reading or meditating. Whatever you choose, the objective is to work off that frustration by keeping yourself occupied with things that you enjoy to avoid thinking about whatever it is that has made you sad or mad. I hope I have helped in some way. If you're interested, I can give some ideas on meditating. Stay strong my sister.

    i guess i am a bit like you, when i am sad i love to eat, esspecially chocolate :P how i try and deal with it in other ways is simple things, go for a walk, take a nap, go and see one of my friends, go to the shops. things like that. or you could just have a tea or something. and if those don't work just eat better things. i remember once when i was sad i didn't feel like going anywhere or doing anything, i just sat on my bed watching tv, and to solve my eating habbit i ate carrot sticks. which was okay for me because i love carrot hope things work out.. and your not too sad

    It's called depression.. Your mind can't cope with bad things, only good things so food becomes a comfort for you.

    You do have to find a way to say "no" it's okay, it's not that bad, I'm not that sad, and find something to do, as elly stated above.

    Our minds are very powerful... We can teach it to tell us what ever we want it too so change your thought patern.

    I totally agree with Chandlers Wish, when things get me down i right away try and find something to keep me busy or talk to someone to draw my attention to whatever it is that gets me down i see it as therapeutic and it helps alot...but also like ellylouise said is that another option is that you can just change what you eat keep healthy snacks around or things with less calories stuff like wheat thins, rice cakes, etc...

    Even I'm having the same problem.. I can't talk or behave when I meet with anything bad...thanks a lot for this tips and information..It really gonna help me..
