    Default Favorite Shampoos/Conditioners

I have thick, long wavy hair. Its prone to tangles and dryness/frizz. I used to use Citrishine but they don't make it anymore. I switched to Pantene Smooth but its kinda blah and I've heard Pantene is bad for your hair as well. I picked up the Tousle kind of Herbal Essense but it makes my hair look more like a rats nest than tousled lol

My boyfriend loves my hair and is always running his hands through it, but I feel awkward when he ends up pulling out tangles (and hair!) instead of just petting me lol

I'm looking for something that keeps it hydrated and smooth so it doesn't get all tangled and messy so easily. Smell is important too since I have SO much hair =P

So what are some of your favorite Shampoos and Conditioners, where do you buy them and how much do they run?

    Thanks!

My favorite lately has been Herbal Essences. The only shampoo/conditioner that agrees with my wavy hair.

my hair is long, and thick aswell, i am growing it at the moment, seeing as it takes forever to grow i was trying to find products that might help speed up the process. i came across this new shampoo and conditioner, it's sunsilk and it's called longer and stronger. it is the best i have ever used! it smells great, and when i wash it it doesn't tangle like it used to. and it always makes it look really healthy, even if it's not in it's best condition. your hair might be thicker than mine, but it it working for me! even if you're not trying to grow yours out, it makes it heaps stronger too, so i would give it a go.

i buy it from woolworths. i live in australia, not sure about where you live. but i would try and get it, beacuse it is really good.

(it's in a black bottle with bright colours on it)

    hope this helps!

it sounds like you have the same kind of hair as moi.

my favourite budget shampoo/conditioner combo is the john freida one for curly hair or any of the colour versions of it depending what colour my hair is at the time.

my favourite expensive combo is the bumble and bumble creme de coco.
it smells amazing and makes such a difference to my hair.

I'll try sunsilk next when I finish my Pantene shampoo and conditioner. They say it's not good to stick with just one brand of shampoo.

I have been Aussie and at first it made my hair really nice but its starting to dry out my scalp.

Then i bought this brand that redken makes to help with dry scalp and its really amazing its called solve dandruff shampoo. Go Redken! My friend is a hair dresser so she turned me onto it.
