exfoliate exfoliate exfoliate!
you can buy, i think origins make a good one, pads with a sort of chemical exfoliating thing on them (saylic acid that kind of thing)

for darker underarms, maybe you can try rubbing lemon on it before bath and after bath time...its an old asian ritual and it works plus its cheap too
