    Loz,

I can't speak from experience, but I'd say the best thing to do would be to go to either a salon or read the packaging. There are lots of shampoos that are great for all hair types. Look for ones that are for "oily" hair. Avoid those that say for dry hair and be careful not to over condition. If you use a conditioner, I'd keep it towards the ends/tips of your hair and away from the scalp.

    Good luck

Kygirl is right, don't use too much conditioner and only put it on your ends. Shampoo your hair twice and really get into the root area. You are making the problem much worse by washing your hair everyday. You are training it to produce more oil, as you are washing it everyday and taking away the oil it has put there. Your hair therefore thinks it is not making enough and makes extra. Stop washing it so often, wash it 2-3 times a week for a few weeks. Shampoo once, rinse, shampoo again. Use less conditioner. Get yourself some Baptiste Dry Shamoo and use that inbetween washes. Its not expensive, its about £1.50 a can. You dont need alot.

maybe you have ruined your hair by washing it everyday. that can make it worse. baby shampoo or the old prell that came back out is good for taking oils out of hair. be careful about the every day wash, that can make it more greasy.

im a hairstylist, and i also have naturally oily hair, i as well have to wash daily sometimes even twice daily. this is what i suggest to my clients, use a purifying shampoo (peppermint scrub, clarifying) and only apply at your roots, conditioner is only to be applied at your ends, and use a volumizing conditioner, they are the most lightweight...and only apply to ends, when you rinse your hair, rinse in cooler water, it closes your hair follicules hope this helps

I am a little conservitive about drastic changes and other stuff. I think this is a good way to keep the hair fabulous!

    Cool silky Hair

For best results, oil your hair 3 times a week.
Use egg whites once a week and leave on for one hour before rinsing off.
Drink a lot of water and exercise regularly.
Make sure your diet includes plenty of protein like poultry, fish, eggs, vegetables, nuts and dairy products.
Trim your hair every 6 to 8 weeks.
Try coconut hair oil for shiny hair and amla oil for growth.
