This is what I learned....
I was told how to lighten my hair to blonde. The first few times I went to a salon and the rest I did it myself. The last time though, I did something very wrong and it ended up really weird colored. I tried to fix it, but that didn't work.
I had to go to a salon and the ONLY fix for it was for them to chop my hair off and get rid of the damaged sections. I was left with about an inch or so of hair. Once they did that, they had to dye it three times to get it to hold a red color to cover up the errors I had made. It was a nice haircut, and I did look cute in it.....but I'm not able to color it AT ALL until all of my natural color comes back in and the unhealthy hair is completely off my head. Why? Because even though it took the dye when dyed three times, it faded in about 2 weeks and will not hold color any longer. If I dye it now, I will end up with about an inch of nice colored hair, and about an inch of hair that is funny colored.
I really don't want to chop my hair off super short again, so I'm doing what I was told. It's slowly growing out, and hopefully it will only be another two or three cuts before it's all my natural color.
Just remember, you CAN completely ruin your hair. Once you do, you are pretty much screwed until it grows back healthy.

Or use a blow dryer. Works great. Healthy. Natural. Cheap?
Really natural hair is a gift of God
