Thumbs up Lois Lane needs some help :)

My boyfriend and I are going to be Lois Lane and Clark Kent for Halloween this year. I have my entire outfit planned out, but don't know how to do my face. I would like to look different. I am going more for the Teri Hatcher Lois Lane.

I need some tips to make this happen, but just know that I don't wear makeup, nor have I ever. This is the problem I need some serious help that will be as easy as possible for a novice to do. I'm looking for actual names of items I could use as well as the best way to apply it. I'm in my thirties and I don't want to look like a clown.

    Any ideas? help please

hmmm...I'm wondering if you all think this is a joke thread. It isn't--I would really like help. I really am in my thirties and do not wear makeup. I also really don't even know where to start. I'm perfectly happy not wearing makeup every day of my life, but I just thought it might be fun for my costume.

Please take pity on me. Do you remember seeing girls in middle school doing there makeup for the first time? I do, and I don't want to look like them.

Get into a higher end store that has cosmetics counters, ask them to make you up. I have allergies so I use Origins and they are great. Your experience will vary from person to person. Some of them are quite good at helping you learn to use make up and others aren't. You may want to make several trips and try different products. They will actually sit you down and make you up.

Your skin and coloring is different from mine or anyone else's so it's best to get personal, individual instruction. If you get someone good, you just may be amazed at what they can teach you to do.
