    Default Highlights...yay or nay?

I have wavy/curly, sometimes frizzy hair that is dark brown. I want a change in my look, so I was thinking a full high light. I've gotten high lights before, but it seemed too "thin" of high lights that I didn't care for it. For someone who is fairly pale, dark hair, (i can straighten it with a flat iron and it looks smooth) meduim length, do you think I can pull off high lights? I am tired of my same old look!

Not a lot of people are going for high lights these days. And blonde's are all going darker.

The new thing is a natural looking hair colour. My hair is naturally dark mucky kinda dull brown, but I dye it black and it gives it that nice healthy shiny look.
A lot of my friends who were bright blonde, have all dyed their hair back to chestnut brown's and reddish plum colour's.
Because you say you are fairly pale and your hair is dark, why not try a nice light brown to brighten it up?

What colour of high lights were you thinking of getting anyway?
Would you consider the full colour change? Even if it is just a shade brighter than your natural hair.
But if your happy with getting high lights then, you should get them, regardless of friends saying no. It's your hair not theirs

Well, there is a virtual make over thing you can do online, where you take a pic of yourself and can try on different hair styles, all different lenghts, shapes, sizes and colours. And you can even do make-up on it!. The name is Taaz. I cant write the full website in case it comes up as a link, but if you look it up I'm sure you will find it.
I used it recently when I decided to get my hair cut shorter, and I was able to see just exactly what it would look like! Maybe try that and you will see for sure what it will look like before you get it done!
