Hi! I'm so glad other people are interested in the pin up look! Try looking on you tube, I have found some great tutorials on there, another place to look for tips is [the fedora lounge . com] and [punk rock domestics . com] they are both forums but if you type in something along the lines of "victory rolls" or "victory curls" in the search function they have pretty good stuff.![]()
That sounds like fun!

OOOooo an updo, yea.. get plenty of bobby pins..
50's pinup is a very ranged look.
Get some nice products.
Most products will do the work.
But if you want it to look good and stay good. Go for a little more expensive hairspray.
I myself have a very pin-up style but mine is more soft.
I do Katy Perry like hairstyles.
If you want this softer look, I use Dove Flexible Hold Hairspray.
It works wonders!!
To find a style that really works. Look for online tutorials and find one thats easy enough for you to do to youself and looks fantastic!
GOOD LUCK!

OOOOH! A thread I feel passionately about! I LOVE pin-up hair. If you look up the user "I love gerardo" on youtube she has several pin up styles that she goes through step by step. I did her "Rosie the Rivetter" updo and it looked MARVELOUS!
