Thread: Good moisturizing lipstick?

Hi all,

I'd like to start wearing lipstick to give my lips more color, but the thing is I have such dry lips (for which I use chapstick, which don't add much color, of course.) Is there any lipstick out there that moisturizes the lips while still bringing a healthy color to them? And which kinds are the best? Thank you for any replies!

You can get lipsticks with a conditioning cream/mousse down the centre. You would be best to buy a tub of petroleum jelly and put it on before your lipstick. I've heard good things about MAC lipsticks, specifically the 'lustre' range.
