I wish I had naturally good skin, but I dont, right now I'm undergoing treatment for pcos, so I'm taking a birth control to help with my hormonal breakouts, since I started, its too soon to tell. I mostly have small milia bumps on my forehead, blackheads on my nose, overall large pores, oily skin, redness around the nose and general uneven skin tone due to picking on my skin in the past.
My main issue is that no matter what I use, my makeup always looks and feels heavy and caked on. I get really self concious if someone gets close to my face because all I can think of is what my skin must look like. I try to use as little as possible, but by the end of the day it starts to feel really heavy.
Right now I'm using everyday minerals, I swirl the brush in little bit of powder and tap it so it settles into the brush, they apply to my face in circular motion. I do this twice, so its 2 very thin layers.
I also use an oil free sunscree/moisturizer underneath and sometimes a primer if its hot outside. The primer seems to help a little, but not entirely.
I hate using liquid foundation because its so heavy, same with cream. I want to stick to mineral makeup, but I dont know how to make it softer looking.
Any ideas?
