    Default Want to color hair

I have dark brown hair and a lot of high lights and low lights.
I want to color my hair all one color- a color closer to my natural hair.
My hairdresser has told me that if I do that I will have a grow our ring around my hair and it will be awful.
I know the high/low lights will be lighter, but why can't I try for one color?

I did it, just recently actually, and didn't have any problem. My hairdresser didn't even mention anything like that. I had been coloring a light brown with highlights for years, just a month or two ago, I went a dark brown, no hightlights, more natural for me. It looks great. No ring.

Last year I colored my hair light brown. It really came out great! It gave me a more natural look...

My hair is also brown, but I make some locks, I think is the correct word. My locks are blonde, and I really love my hair now.

I use henna and have a couple different colors that I trade off using and often use both. My hair naturally has a lot of variation and that helps keep it.
