There are many varieties of combination set , eyeshadow sets and choose some foundations and powders for normal skin, easy shade matching.
It does'nt take me very long putting on my make-up..... I'd say the longest I'd take is half an hour but usually I only take 15 minutes applying. I used to take longer when I was younger but nowadays I like to do it quick.I wash my face and brush my teeth thoroughly beforehand. Foundation is always on first and I like using the natural sunlight to put it on,followed by quick eyebrow tweezing and shaping....and then light eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick and then blush is last.
That's my routine![]()
Takes me no time at all. Literally... because I don't wear makeup. Ever. I think I look just fine without it, so I really don't see the point. Just seems like a waste of time and effort, but that's just me.![]()
How can you see where you're going if you spend your whole life looking over your shoulder? –Naughty Ninja
Yea I can see your point, somedays when I just stay home I like wearing no make-up at all but like someone's post above, I don't like going out with a bare face. I gotta have at least some lipstick on or else my lips will look and feel plain. To each their own tho.
I love mascara but I don't apply that too heavy because I hate that goopy feeling over my eyes. I also use eyeliner to make my eyelashes look a little thick at the end.
I have always loved applying make up. Even now I have two daughters who just would jump at the word make-up. I feel the best routine is to start with washing your face. Use a scrub or a face wash.
Apply some lotion or foundation or concealer. Depending on what you wish to use. Start with your cheeks and go to your eyes. If using eye shadow, always blow on the brush before you apply it.
Then at last the lips![]()
Most make-up artists, including myself, would recommend doing your eyes prior to doing your foundation. This is because tiny bits of pigment from your shadow will fall onto your cheeks, especially if you're using sparkles. You can brush this away with a dry brush, and then go ahead and apply the foundation after. When you coat your brush in shadow, tip it on your other wrist to remove the excess loose power. This will also help prevent the pigment from falling onto your cheeks. Leave mascara and lips until the end![]()
