No don't wear it.Let him tell. But don't wear the high heals. It might cause you more problems in the future. and still if you want to wear than go for the platform heel shoes which will be cover your toe as well as don't let you feel that you have worn high heels.

It seems to me that platform shoes would solve the problem! He's shure making a big fuss over nothing. Maybe he should try walking around in heels for a few hours...

Unless your part of the wedding! I can't see anything wrong with that dress. You might want to buy heels that you'll be comfortable wearing...

Hi deep-fear, I have a sort of similar problem in that I have a very wide foot and a bunion has formed. It's not bad enough to require surgery but bad enough to kill me in an ill-fitting shoe that has to be worn for any length of time. My solution?? at least in the summer -- you can get some very nice sandles, open toe, strappy and they will not press (if you select the right style) on the area of your surgery. Also, these can be purchased with a low heel, medium height heel or very high heel. Take your pick. I agree that a nice pair of flats would be nice for the evening dancing etc. Let us know what you decide.

all the ideas are great..but with a couple weeks of thinking about it...im going to stick with the idea of wearing heels that kill my feet and bring also get a pair of flat shoes to..so in case i 100% cant stand it anymore....maybe ill end up wearing the flat's..i dont know..but for now im going to just get both to make my finacee happy. it seems to be very important to him..im really emotionaly sick of fighting back about this silly heels vs flats with him..its only for one day i guess ill just suck it up! Thanks all!

Good luck. I wish you all the best. Get back here with us, you may start a new thread to tell us more as I'm closing this one.

I am worried that you do not take the time to take a stand on something that concerns you very much, instead compromise so soon. Your fiance should at least give you a reprieve because of your past surgery. And not only that, both parties have to compromise, but it seems like it is one-sided.

Do come back and share more later. Start a new thread.
