I've had problems wearing high heels in the past! You might want to check at a specialty store in your local area...I'm shure they'll be able to recommend something. Good Luck!

The shoes that are proper for your feet based on your history.

Would he rather you be comfortable or miserable?

I don't think he's being very considerate or supportive.

Your fiance is mistaken. There is no rule that women must wear heels to a wedding, it does not make them any less feminine (as he seems to think).

You've had surgery on your feet, why is he being so unreasonable? And why is he SO preoccupied with women's formal footwear? If he was aware of women's fashion trends, he would know that there are many beautiful flat options that are appropriate to wear for formal events. Even the snobbiest of fashionistas will admit that flats are "in" right now.

This is his preference, and his preference alone. It has nothing to do with being a child or a woman, and everything to do with him just wanting you to do as he says. Find a lovely pair of flat shoes that are comfortable and stylish, and let him be huffy about it. He'll get over your shoe choice faster than your feet would get over being crammed in a pair of uncomfortable heels for hours.

I totaly agree I would love to tell him off and say that im wearing these shoes and thats it...Its tempting...infact I told him what you all suggested..I asked him whats more important me being in pain in heels or me being comfy....but he says im just being studren and dont want to wear them justy becasue he asked me to...so he thinks im just being a for not wanting to wear them ...thats why i gave in and said ill try heels...I dont want him to think I can't be resonable...he also told me that " You CAN wear heels you just dont want to"....that got me thinking maybe he is right..I guess if i really wanted to i could..i just dont want to..one becasue of the pain in my foot and two Its just not me...But im still thinking about it..im not going the shop yet..just look around to see what feels good.
