Default best foundation for very pale skin

I have very fair skin. Whenever I buy foundation I always go for the "ivory" colors, which are the lightest. But even these tones look too dark for my face, and they almost make me look orange sometimes
What's the best foundation out there for people with pale skin? Preferably an affordable one that can be found at a drugstore.

    Thanks!

I have had the "orange" problem also.... then you get the distinct line at your jaw or neck line and when you go outside in the natural light it shows up bad.
The best foundation that I have found is either the bare essentials (it's a powder that you buff on). They have infomercials about it all the time and it's sold at JcPenney's. you can even go online and print a coupon for a free trial take it to the store and they will give you a sample that will last you about a week or so (The JcPenney's version is called Sephoria). The other foundation that I found that works really good (if you aren't partial to powder foundations) is the stuff that almay makes that goes on almost white but it changes colors to match your skin tone. I was very skeptical when I saw the commercial and I just had to try it to see if it really did work like that and to my surprise it really does. It's actually called "smart shade" and it's made by Almay. The reason that I bought the almay stuff was because in the summer I have to constantly change shades depending on how much sun I get and I got tired of buying new foundations or trying to mix them together to get the shade what would match the shade I was that week.

I've been using Cover Girl for oily skin foundation and powder. It is very light and matches my tone well. It's the lightest I've found yet.

I also use Bare Escentuals-I am pale and wear the Fair foundation. Not orange at all-it is for cooler pale skintones.
