Red face Tips for air drying naturally frizzy hair?

Hi! I almost always wear my hair up in a really loose pony. I love being able to squeeze every last second out of my morning sleep-in before I have to get up and get ready. However, the pony tail thing is getting boring, and I have alopecia on my temples and have hardly any hair there. It's getting harder & harder to cover up with my hair pulled back. So I'd like to start wearing my hair down more often...without the hassle of having to blowdry it every day...not to mention the strain on my hair.
Anywho... When I let my hair dry on its own, I get strange waves here & there...and huge amounts of frizz... it looks like I had my head out the window facing backwards out of a car moving at 100 mph...serisouly! Any tips or products you could suggest to tame it a little bit and maybe even give me a little bit of volume? I have naturally straigh(ish) hair, and again because of the alopecia it's a bit thin right now too. Any mousse, gel, syrums? Advice?

    Thanks!

To be honest I'd steer away from all but the mildest treatments.
Maybe search out the latest amino acid rich leave-ins and conditioning masks, they should take care of the frizz without 'stressing' out your hair.

I'm guessing the waves are the resuly of your loose ponytail

I have the same problem with my hair being unruly and frizzy, not to mention sorta straight. I started using Paul Mitchell Super Skinny...the smallest amount goes a looong way... my hair has learned to behave and there is no oily or sticky mess left behind... good luck, and maybe this will help

If your hair is somewhat wavy, try taming it with a mousse, I like the smell of Aussie's mousse. And then to add volume, I have a U-Smooth texturizing iron that has crimped plates to add volume. Crimp your under-layers of hair at the roots (after your hair has air-dryed). This will give you lift and you don't have to tease your hair!

I guess you should try minitop 2%. It is a kind of oil that i have been applying on my hair. I have been losing hair a lot and it has made my hair look so much better.
I no more look that old

Try mixing 2tsp curd & 2tsp honey with an egg. Apply onto your hair for 20mins and wash with a mild shampoo.. Smells bad but works well!

Let your hair dry naturally instead of over drying with a towel or using a hair dryer.

Also restrain from using lemon juice on your hair & it further dries the scalp & hair.

    Cheers!

    - 1 yoghurt (any type)
    - juice of 1 lemon
Mix all together in a bowl.
Wash your hair in warm water and towel dry.
Spread the mixture evenly through your locks with fingertips or a wide-tooth comb.
Leave on for 20 minutes then rinse with cool water! Hot water could cook the ingredients.
    Allow hair to dry naturally.
Don't be tempted to use your hairdryer or straighteners, they will ruin the effect.
