Here's the problem, I never look or feel too beautiful. I admit, I'm not bad looking... I have pretty features. Compared to a lot of people, I'm decent. What can I do to make myself look pretty and feel beautiful.

PLEASE do not tell me about how I'm already beautiful. I've heard it all before and it doesn't make me feel any better. I just need some beauty tips and suggestions.

    Thanks!! xx

Well, like it or not, you ARE already beautiful. You have a glowing natural beauty that few people have. However, that doesn't mean you can't spruce things up a bit to make yourself feel more beautiful. Even the most beautiful of women have things they do that make them feel MORE beautiful. And even the most beautiful of women, have times in which they do not feel beautiful.

You have amazing eyes. Without a stitch of anything on them, they are breathtaking. I can't tell for sure what color they are, but there are certain color tones of eye shadows that play up your eye color. For instance, mine are a dark brown. Colors with blue and pink tones tend to make them pop. Lavendar is also a good color. Grey as well. Because dark eyes can tend to make makeup look "harsher", I lay off the eye liner and only wear eye shadow and mascara because it makes my lashes look longer. So, do a google search for best eye shadow for whatever eye color you have. Whatever you do, don't get the misconception that MORE makeup means MORE beautiful. That is 100% not the case.

You have FANTABULOUS lips. Find yourself a lovely red lipstick. It was difficult for me to find a shade that worked for me, because every one I put on seemed to look hot pink on my skin tone. I ended up going with the cheapest brand at Walmart (can't remember brand) and the shade of Sheer Red. Anyway, find one that works for you and gives you a rich red tone. There is just something about saturated red lipstick with the right outfit that can make a girl feel so sexy!

You have what looks like the perfect hair for sock bun curls. Google it: No Heat Sock Bun Curls You can put your hair up in this sock bun at night, sleep on it, take it out the next morning and have BEAUTIFUL curls. I've tried it once and I definitely need some more practice but was happy with the results. I love wearing my hair straight, but sometimes it just makes me feel pretty to have some soft wavy curl. I think you should also find a gorgeous "swept back" off the face hairdo to show off your gorgeous face. Pinterest has some awesome hair AND makeup ideas.

On the clothes end of things, nothing makes me feel prettier than when I have on an outfit that I most likely bought from consignment and paid $5 for, but that is DIFFERENT than anything anyone else will have on. I started venturing out from the regular mall stores and visiting consignments and finding unique pieces to add to my wardrobe. It makes me feel good when I'm wearing something no one else is wearing and people are asking "Where did you get that!?!".

Most importantly for you, is to be patient with yourself and know that as you age, you will grow into a more confident woman. But in order to get there, be sure to appreciate yourself the way you are, even if that means forcing yourself to say "I'm truly beautiful" in the mirror every morning. Don't let your self worth be determined by your appearance. In other words, work on building the WHOLE you, not just your outer appearance.

    "Be what you're looking for."

"The next time you're thinking of kicking someone when they're down, offer them your hand and help them back up instead."

If you want to look beautiful, you can follow current fashion and make up trends for your face/body features. Make sure that what is in your wardrobe fits well. It may not be what is 'popular' but ill fitting clothes can be a nuisance to wear and bring down your appearance. We have a seamstress on base who has done the majority of my pants, and a few blazers. It is just something you have to deal with being petite.

If you can, have your make up professionally done so you can see what works best with your complexion and facial features. You may not have to buy anything, but if you do, you can watch what they do so you can replicate the look at home.

If you can maintain a wardrobe that you can afford, and get make up down to what you are comfortable with, feeling great and beautiful may be easier.
If you can feel beautiful, and have the make up and wardrobe in line, you will receive compliments freely, and will not have to flaunt/show off/brag for them.

You have such nice skin..play with colors using your make up. They say that feeling beautiful is much important compared to looking beautiful.

Thanks. The truth is, I have horrible skin. I've had bad acne since the 4th grade! I use a lot of foundation and powder. lol I think I'd feel better if I did have clear skin ha but it never happens.
