I heard using a certain type of hair brush can make your hair healthier (from taking oils from roots to the ends). Does anyone know what type of hair brush this is?

Hair brush type does matter - as per the thickness of the brush, the size of the barrel, the material it's made of, etc. Personally, I haven't tried what you're describing, but I am currently using an ordinary hairbrush from the grocery store. I only use it before bedtime, since I brush my hair before I go to bed and then when I blow dry my hair I also use it. But when it comes to normal combing, I use a wide-toothed comb so I don't damage my scalp and my hair.
I think it all depends on your hair type, hairstyle, and what results you want. What brand in particular are you talking about (now, you got me curious). Just a reminder though, no posting of outbound links or advertising. We don't want our valued posters to be banned.

Anybody else remember stories from their grandmother or mother of brushing one section of their hair 100 times before moving on to the next section? It was all about spreading the scalp's natural oils throughout the strands of hair for luster and softness.
