Okay so I'm about to turn 19 and I just got my ears pierced in September. I ended up not doing so great at the whole cleaning my ears three times a day for a few weeks, but I didn't realize that they had gotten a little infected until after I was allowed to change my earrings. The infection has never been painful at all and I am still able to take out and put back in my earrings and change them and everything and I have been trying to use the ear cleaner stuff more to try and get the infections to go away. And it has been working; I have noticed that I can feel the sort of puss filled pockets getting smaller. However on the back side of my left ear has been a little red bump next to the hole that has progressively gotten a little bigger and while I was examining it today it seemed like it sort of popped I think. ? but not the kind of pop that gets everything out, it looks like the pocket of the infection just kind of came through the skin and is now just chillin on the backside of my ear. I'm not really sure what to do about it, I sort of picked at it with some tweezers but nothing really happened and I have cleaned it off with some of the cleaner and a cotton swab and about a drops worth of blood total has came off of it but I guess what I'm trying to ask is does anyone know what I should do about this? Should I just leave it and see what happens? Should I try to pop it? Has this ever happened to anyone else?
