I have never known what it's like not to smell from the armpits. I have become a paranoid freak never feeling fresh even after a shower. It's so bad that I bathe at least three times a day and take little wash-ups between. All efforts to keep myself clean. Nothing works. I thought I was cursed. I tried home remedies. I finally went to the derm and she told me my condition is common though Ive never met anyone like me. I live in the South in the US where women are supposed to be "lady like" at all times. Of course I take much criticism for being this way but I don't know what else to do. Suicide is always on my mind. But, my derm gave me two different antibiotics and Clinidamycin and Cloderm ($125). I used it all up and no change. I abandoned coffee and switched to orange juice recently. Deodorants don't work. The stronger they are; the more they burn my skin. The less aluminum they have, they worse I smell. I don't know what's left to do. I just read the previous post, I'm about to go out and buy some apple cidar vinegar and honey. At this point, I'll try anything. Thanks.

I have the same problem, had it every since I started going through puberty . I tried everything, mitchum, ban, soft &dri, etc...It seems like no matter how much I wash its still a slight odor...When I find a good deodorant and use it awhile I end up having to switch. I switch very often...I usually use stick deodorant, because roll on causes my to sweat and gel really doesn't work. Try secret PH balance, that's what I use, it may work for you too...

Go down to the health food store - some place like Whole Foods and get some chlorophyll. I like the liquid 100mg from Organic World, it also comes in capsules. I mox what is probably a tablespoon or two or more (I don't measure) in a glass of cold water and drink it. Personally I like the taste and it will freshen your breath if you drink it. Chlorophyll is a natural internal deodorizer and is good for you. Within a a week of using it daily you should notice a difference in your personal odor. You may have to up the amount a bit to get the desired results.

What you eat affects how you smell. Lots of garlic, you will smell garlicy. If you drink, it will come through your pores. Lots of salads and veggies (please no ice berg, creamy dressings or piles of cheese - you might as well not bother with the salad then) and you will smell fresher.

    Smile Try this..

Ban, Sure, Dry Idea- all of these product USED to work for me, but they all of a sudden stopped.

What worked for me was a crystal called Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal. I found this at my local health food store. This product is GREAT! If only I knew about this before! I have been using it for about a week and I have NO odor from my underarms. I am still testing this and if it continues to work, I will NEVER go back to the other products like Sure, Dry Idea, Ban, etc. Another good thing about this crystal is that it will literally last for one year. It drys VERY QUICK and is not messy like roll-ons. Cost: $6.30.

I would still like to know the specific cause of my under-arm odor. It just kinda popped up one day. Age, hormones.. not sure..

    Underarm odor problem!
easy to handle because now a lot of formulas to reduce and eliminate underarm odor. our diet can also affect it though because we have to consume foods that do not contain much oil.
