Unhappy Fake Tan

Hey,
Im looking for a good fake tan or one of those tanning moisturisers. Ive tried Johnsons holiday skin but it made me yellow
I dont want to be orange or even brown but at the moment Im so pale that in photos I stand out a mile away and look like Casper the ghost! I just want a slightly golden colour and I have no clue what brand or type to get, and I don really wat to be paying more than about £7.
Any ideas?

Try Ambre Solaire no streaks bronzer self tanning spray for light skin.
Don't go ott though, put some on after a shower or before you go to bed and let it dry and don't put more on until you see the results the next day. Then if you wanna go darker spray on some more.

I agree that stuff is tops. There is also a product called Brazillian Bronzer (something like that) you can get it from Sports Girl, pretty cheap, and you just use it on your legs or arms etc for a nice glow before you go out. Its not a fake tan, just a bronzer but it works quite well.

You can try putting some iodine in your body wash shake it up good. Sounds crazy but we use it all of the time for pageants... it slowly kind of dyes you skin. Anyways I like the line of products by bath and body works as well. Also clinque has a nice lotion bronzer.

I have it down to a science as to keep my skin moisturized and prevent weird lines. I mix 2 lotions in a bottle- sunless tanner and moisturizer. I happen to like banana boat moisturizer because its cheap and thick, but you have to try different types for your skin. I am olive skinned so I look natural with a dark tan. You can also put a very small amount of tanner in a lot of moisturizing lotion. Then cap it and shake it to mix it.

After a shower I put exfoliate/dry off with a towel but I leave my legs damp because I've already exfoliated by shaving.

Then I put PLAIN lotion on my hands/wrists, feet/ankles. This prevents weird lines. Then I put my tanner/lotion concoction everywhere else from my feet to my neck blending it together a bit at the wrists and the ankles.

Air dry for a couple minutes and voila! Natural looking tan!!! I do this every day to keep moisturized in the desert and it gives you an even color. I also use sunless tanner on my face but I rub it onto my skin with a squirt of special face cream.

That is my system. Hope this post is helpful to you.

Try using Dove Summer Glow moisturizer. It builds up a light tan. I would recommend using it every other day for a week. Because it is a moisturizer, it is really easy to apply, very natural looking, and builds gradually. Plus it doesn't come off on your clothes or sheets.
