i find that i always clumped too, so i tried covergirl lashblast and i love it. usually i apply my mascara and then use my eyelash curler, while the curler is on my eyelash brush to brush out any remaining clumps , works great for me.

Sometimes, just getting a new tube is all it takes. They also make mascaras that have very small brushes for getting into those inner corners. But just like Sweetie said, wiggle the brush from base to tip. This will also make your lashes look fuller at the base. Also, make sure you are starting new everyday with your mascara because pile-age will definately cause clumps.

Well, if you are using the cheap green and pink bottle throw it away when it gets clumpy it's only $3 or so anyway. Also wash your wand every once in awhile. I've been using the new stuff with the lash extenders that sells for $10 and it is getting clumpy after only a week of use. I will not be able to afford to just throw it away. It may just be that you are applying it wrong. If you can put the wand in your lashes close to your eye and wiggle it back and forth as you apply. This separates your lashes and coats it evenly. If that does not work try to just use the tip of the brush and apply to each couple of lashes individually.

I also have used maybeline great-lash WATERPROOF (the non-waterproof makes my eyelashes uncurl) mascara for about 15 years now and it is 1 of the best that works for me. No matter what mascara I try I get clumps. I get rid of these clumps by carefully separating my eyelashes with a medium sized safety pin (I've also been doing this for about 15 years). The blue bottled voluminous mascara is my 2nd best choice (maybeline or revlon makes this I think)

You need a better quality product. Waterproof is nice but is made with some very harsh chemicals, if you have any sensitivites you are better off with something like the Organics line.

I find Channel makes an amazing mascara, it's pricey but it is so worth every penny. I used it for my wedding and since will not use anyother

I had to try that new stiletto mascara. the black and red one. I go in 6 month intervals about curling and adding mascara to my eyelashes.. i just get out of the habit or run out of mascara.. i dunno.

anyway. I bought it..it clumps and it has a funky smell to it. I walked around the first day wondering what i was smelling.. it was from turning my head and i realized the second day it was the mascara. Its not horrible its just well..took a week or two to get used to it.

It still clumps.. It can't be that old cause when I bought it it was barely being advertised in the stores.

But it does look pretty shiny.

I'll try cleaning my brush with baby oil and see if it works better.

I don't spend too much on mascara though. I'm more of a mineral makeup and eyeliner girl.
attitude..it follows us around. It can be like a smelly sock or a sweet perfume. Others can tell. Be confident.

If you are getting clumps it is beacause either you are not shaking it well,do that before you use the product.Secondly when you apply make sure you just have enough of it on the stick...too much of it may give a bad result.

The Revlon mascara is good..I also like the Avon one.
