Default how to get clear skin?

heya i've got very oily skin and have loads of blemishes and whatever...and spots....basically i've horrible skin on my face and have to wear make up to cover it but i want a clear complexion without the need to pile on foundation! does anyone know how i can achieve this and skin care which is natural, perhaps home make skin care as i don't like the idea of loads of chemicals, and also ways to rid whiteheads?
thanks

Hi. Have you tried skin b5? It's from Australia. You can get it as a tablet or a powder. It's excellent, I can't recommend it enough.
And if you're looking for a natural foundation that feels great, really light like you haven't got any on but still gives good coverage I'd recommend one from Avon called "Personal Match Smooth Mineral Make-up" You dust it on with a powder brush, it's great, I love it.

I'm a guy, so I don't have the whole make-up thing to deal with, but I had pretty bad skin for a long time, and pretty much have it under control. Here's what I do:
  • Wash pillowcases at least once a week
  • If your hair is long, tie back when you sleep
  • wash your face first thing in the morning
  • Eat less fatty foods - I cut out most sugar, chocolate, crisps, oily foods etc
  • Drink lots of water
  • Take a multivitamin tablet every day
  • If it's really bad see your doctor and get some antibiotics, Minocycline worked better than any of the others I was prescribed
  • Try not to touch your face as much, and dont pick/play/rub etc...
  • Wash your hair frequently, grease from your hair gives you spots, seriously
  • dont wear make up more than you really need to, and be sure to totally clean it off before you go to bed - it clogs pores, stops them from breathing, leading to spots
  • get some hardcore spot cream for individual uglies, I use something with 10% Benzoyl Peroxide in it - works ok, but only put it on the spot as it really dries out normal skin
  • Avoid soda stuff, things like Coke are REALLY bad for your skin
  • smoking and drinking apparently are bad for the skin, but I haven't learnt my lesson there yet
  • Be sure to wash your face twice a day, can use a medicated soap, but make sure it doesnt dry out your skin too much.
  • I used a concoction of pure aloe vera, sandlewood oil and jojoba stuff for a while, that seemed to help quite a lot, but kinda difficult to get the stuff.
  • If you're popping a spot, make sure to get everything out, the puss, all the blood it'll give, and beware of clear puss afterwards. You need to wash this off, and clean properly, because it can reinfect other pores around it. Since the clear puss can come out for 20 minutes afterwards, make sure to clean it then....
  • DIET DIET DIET DIET. It's so much about the food you eat it's not even funny. Greasy foods, fats, sugar all mess your skin up, and to keep your skin healthy in the first place you need lots of fruits/veg.
Im bored now, so that's all you're getting haha. But basically, there's no one thing that will cure you, it's a combination of so many elements that you have to make changes in your lifestyle to beat.

Good luck.

Sometimes when one person is getting breakouts could be due to their hormone changes. Many people face breakouts when they reach purberty age or when they are pregnant. Please DO NOT squeeze or plug or pimples as it will aggravate the condition even more. I am also someone with oily skin hence you need to find the right cleanser that suit your skin. Most importantly, you have to keep your face clean.

Always remember the 3 most basic steps. (Cleanse, Tone and Moisturise).

Even if you are having oily skin, you also need a good moisturiser to prevent your skin from overproduction of oil.

Especially when you wearing foundation, you need to remove your make-up with a makeup cleanser and cleanse your face with cleanser after that.

...Well you just said almost everything I would have said.. except:

WATER! Drink lots of water, it not only will clean up your skin, but it will help you lose weight, your hair and nails will grow better and you will have more energy and be more healthy!

I have oily skin as well, I never spend lots of money on creams and soaps, I buy a simple face soap, a make-up remover and a light face cream...

I don't really believe in brand names, but I do like Nivea. My brother lived and breathed nutragina (spelling?) and it cleaned up his face pretty well.

I used to use the nutragina make-up which helped keep my face clear, but it gets expensive... Just buy the powder and foundation and conceller if needed since those are the things that we tend to pile on more!

Default face care

Okay, let me tell you something.
I've always had a problem with my skin, and what I found that works best is to exfoliate.
You can use sugar and honey, it works pretty well to exfoliate, and you cant over-do it, because the sugar melts. Try to do this every day, twice a day if you want to. This should help with white/blackheads.
Another thing is try a mask...one made out of powdered milk and warm water, turn it into a paste, and put in on your face, let it dry, then wash it off.
For pimples...DO not squeeze them...well, try not to. I know sometimes its almost impossible. Try putting a hot (but NO TOO HOT) teabag on them...a black tea is better, because of the acid in it. If you have acne anywhere else on your body, take a bath soaked in teabags...it also will give you a hint of a tan.
You can also try calamine lotion!!! Just dab it on the pimple before you do to bed, and it will dry up...
or toothpaste works.

ask for makeup...get a LIGHT foundation, with minerals. Anything with minerals will help your skin look brighter. To cover up a pimple, try dabbing some concealer on it, and then dabbing the concealer with a **** q-tip, that way you dont just take the concealer off.

OH....ang last but not least, get your face in the sun...this will help dry up the pimples as well.

Good luck!!!!

Try these simple steps-

Cleanse, Exfoliate, Tone and Moisturize twice a day.
Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from your body.
Avoid Oily and Spicy Food.

Mix one tsp. lemon juice with one tsp. cucumber juice and one tsp. mint or parsley juice and apply on your face with the help of a cotton ball. Rinse off after ten minutes with cold water. It will help.

Oops, I meant Cleanse tone, and moistruize twice a day but exfoliate every alternate day and if your skin is too sensitive once a week should be fine.
