I can't read all of that, it's all different topics. Sure, it pertains to the one question you have, which seems to be in relation to future children and today's society verses yesterdays and how you want them to be bought up.
However, i again agree with Chelsea in as much as throwing it all as one Thread, makes it difficult to read, then reply, read the next bit ie) Jacko and reply and so it becomes all to hard so no reply.
Now, i am only saying that is how i see it for me personally, so hense no reply....OTHER than makeup...
I would reply however, if you put it in different threads as per her suggestion, perhaps others? Don't know, i'm not them.

Ahh, man.. Ok, ok.. MY thread - I'll talk to whoever is talking, it's more like a conversation than a thread. No one else was replying to the thread but chelsea, therefore I developed a conversation with her that nobody else was likely to understand unless they REALLY wanted to, as was noted by chandler.. and apparently chelsea too.
I want to know.. what the ? What the consists of, but is not limited to, everything I said in this thread, and everything that was said in this thread by other people, regardless of direction, motive, influence, misconception, or otherwise stated. I consider it all.
Which means - I have no wrong feet, but apparently I was a bit abrasive initially, and without the edit button I can't rephrase what I said in a more satiny smooth texture so the rough draft is what you get, and I suck until the fourth of fifth edit typically, but this'll be a lesson in getting it right the first time, which is something I've been meaning to do for a while now.
So, what all of THAT means, is that I want to know a lot of stuff.. What I ask somewhere may or may not be something I really care all that much about, but it's the bigger picture I'm working for, and various key elements must be considered before I can progress. IE, teensy tinsy details that are required to construct a bigger image. Like the ocean... Lots of little drops in the ocean, but is the ocean huge. Makeup? Drop in the ocean. Everything else? Drop in the ocean. Everything together? Ocean.

Well, as for Michael Jackson... I would say that "daddy made him do it".. Not verbally but mentally. He was very, very insecure, he has issues i believe anyway and didn't like himself, therefore what he looked like. So, he kept down the path of disctruction to such a degree of going from black to white, parts falling off of his face, eyebrows that aren't eyebrows, hair that is not hair... Could anyone really want to do that to themselves?and to further illustrate my point...
For better or for worse? I'm sure on multiple occasions he stated that he wanted to do all of that to himself, but how could anybody really want to do that to themselves?

I think some cosmetic surgery is "pier pressure, magazines, i want to look like that", but people like Jacko? I think it's insecurity to the hilt of himself, which doesn't reflect his music what so ever, or image. He in my opinion years ago was "hot", great moves... Now i just feel "weird" is a better word.
Strange, i know but people ulitmately make their own decision whether it's based on what they see, read, and then act, or something inside that says, this is what i want to do, or look like because that's what i want, In which case they then will search for the hows and study up..
