I went through pretty much the same thing. I was on Depo for 3 years-ish, then decided to take a break and spent a year going through . The cramps were unbearable and my period was really heavy and lasted for over a week. To make matters worse, my breasts were constantly sore and grew several sizes over the course of that year (they were already quite large). After a year of I demanded my Dr. put me back on it. I'm at a point now where my Dr. is refusing to renew my prescription, so I'm hoping there's a solution to making this a lot easier on my body this time (anybody know if there's a solution, like oral progesterone tablets or something?). I tried going off by taking the mini pill once before and it was too low dose for me - I spent an entire month moody, bloated, and swollen with a never ending period, so I'm hoping there's another solution.

    Default My boobs hurt! Help!??!

I went off depo in September, and my boobs are just now starting to hurt. Is this normal? I have had sex, but with a condom. I've also been on depo since 2008, so I'm thinking the chances of me becoming pregnant now are slim, right? I mean...that's what I've heard.

I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this...? I mean the boobs hurting 2 months after going off the shot. Is that normal? What other kind of side effects are you experiencing? Some days I feel nauseous, and other days I get panic attacks... I've felt nauseous before, so I'm thinking that's just me.

Any advice would be great! The boob soreness just started today.
