Default Birth Control and Yeast Infections

Hello all. I am currently on Kariva bc and have been getting yeast infections. My doctor thinks it has something to do with the estrogen that is the pill and is recommending that I go on a progesterone only pill or the "mini-pill." So in a two weeks I will be taking Camila bc and was wondering if anyone is on it? And yeast infections? I need some sort of birth control that wont cause this problem and my body is extremely sensitive so my doctor just assumes its the estrogen. Hopefully that is the problem so then I can just take something with estrogen but I would still like some feedback from women who deal with this same kind of problem. Thanks!

I have been on Camila since July. I really do not like it - I have not had a 'period' since being on it. You have to take it at same time EVERY day. It has 5% failure rate, especially the first year, which makes me paranoid, so I use contraceptive film as backup. In September, I got really sick - waves of chills, fever, dehydration. All kinds of tests were run, and it came back a severe kidney infection. I attribute this to the film, not the Camila. I just miss taking the ortho-novum, but my age and blood pressure make taking that impossible now. Last month my husband got snipped, so we are waiting on two sperm counts of zero and I am kissing Camila goodbye.
