I was originally put on NuvaRing and was told it was my best option because it had the lowest hormone doses. Unfortunately I lost control of all my emotions and developed an uncommon coughing side effect.

After a break to recuperate I was put on Yaz because of its effects on emotional side effects of periods. Again, I lost control of my emotions.

So I'm wondering if there is a different combination of hormones (i.e. another pill) that might work better. I understand that the lowest dosage was probably my best bet, but has anyone had similar problems and found something that works?
