I recently started a new pill, this will be the 4th month i've been on it. The problem I'm having is that usually at the beginning of the second week I start bleeding rather heavy and then I have a really lite period... at first I blamed it on the fact that it was a totally different kind of pill from what i used to take but this is now the 3rd of 4 months that I've started bleeding for no apparent reason, I have not missed a pill and I take them at the same time everyday give or take a few minutes depending on what i'm doing. So I can't think of any logical reason for which it would be happening, other than my pills simply aren't working. I go to the gyno this afternoon but I just want to know what to expect. I mean I'm supposed to get my yearly and everything today, will he still examine me? And can anyone else think of anything that might be causing this?
I know it seems silly b/c i'm going to the doctor today but I'm really not a fan of doctors and I always get myself all worked up about these things.
Well, it's probably too late, as you would be at the Doctors maybe.
At least you can get advise from him/her... The pill may be too strong and is trying to accustom itself to your body.
I have never had a Pap Smear Test conducted whilst bleeding, it can't give an insight properly, so I doubt they will be doing that part today.
It sucks being a woman, that's for sure.
Stop stressing... It's part of what/who we are... It will all work itself out.
