    Hi all,

I have recently started Ortho tricyclen Lo. My libido has remained the same, which I am thankful for because I have heard of many losing it when they start BC. However, my ability to orgasm has been compromised. Thankfully, once again, I can still do it but it requires so much time to get me there and once I do get there, they just aren't intense at all. I used to get body tingling, screaming orgasms in like 6-10 minutes. Now, it takes 30-45 minutes with complete concentration and my partner avidly using his tongue to get me to have a blip.

So my question is should I switch BC? I was looking into Seasonique. It has a lower dose of progesterone and higher estrogen than Ortho Lo. Isn't the increase in progesterone whats causing my orgasms to be dulled? In addition, I know estrogen creams and what not are prescribed to women suffering from anorgasmia....so I was thinking the combo would maybe get me to my previous state of sexual bliss.

Has anyone made this transition? Do you think Seasonique will cause a loss of libido if Ortho didn't?

Thanks in advance for your replies!

    Hi,

I am on Ortho Lo now. My libido is fine but my ability to climax has been greatly compromised. Also, I've been getting weird pressure headaches in the evening and have terrible gas. Has anyone switched from Ortho Lo and had better success with another pill?

pressure headaches? this caught my eye because i recently switched to a different low dosage bc cause i moved and they dont carry mine here in turkey. my problem is i am having headaches mostly in the evening and they sometimes come with light dizziness. and my period this month seems to be playing hide and seek, here then gone here then gone again. and ya im getting gas too but i have IBS so i just presumed it was that. are u getting dizzy at all ? if u are it would really relieve some anxiety i am having over these headaches
