Pinkish Brown Discharge
I just starting taking the BCP again 2 weeks ago, after being off it for about a year. I've noticed some pinkish brown discharge on the toilet paper after I've wiped. It's not everytime, nor is it enough to use a pantiliner. I went to see the NP today. She told me it's from the BCP. I didn't have any physical exam done. She also told me to monitor it and if it got worse or didn't stop, then I should come back in.
Has anyone else had this happen? I don't remember this happening the first time I was on the pill. But that was a very long time ago. I was on it for 10+ years before I stopped.
My friend had this problem when she first started birth control. Her examiner told her it was from the pill, however about a month later, she didn't get her period and found out that she was pregnant.
It can be from the pill, because I got it four months ago and am obviously not pregnant, but if you have been sexually active without any protection since you started, it could mean that you are pregnant, maybe not as well, just a precaution.
