    i am currently taking tri-nessa and i missed two pill of my last week before the sugar pills. i did not take the tues and wed pill and threw them away when i realized on thurs that i forgot to take them and continued to take my thurs pill. now i am on the heaviest period i have ever had. i start my sugar pills in two days. i look for information regarding missing my pills and what should i do that was after i flushed them down the toilet. GREAT!!!!! i found out that i should have taken both of those pills. i haven't had sex but i am worried that by missing those two pills i will get pregnant. should i be worried?

    Not taking your pills as instructed can, in fact, increase your chances of getting pregnant. However, keep in mind that birth control is not 100% effective in the first place. So yes, you could be pregnant. You can get a preg test from the grocery store to find out for sure.

    Keep taking your pills as instructed from this point on. It may take some time for your cycle to return to the previous state.
