Breakthrough bleeding on Ortho lo
I have been having breakthrough bleeding after six months of ortho lo. I take the pill same time everyday with out ever missing. Am I still protected against pregnancy? Any ideas out there?
I been on that bc for about 7 months now and just this last pack I had started my cycle 3 days before I should have. it was scary, but it was also because I was under a lot of stress at the time. and if you keep up the pill every day same time, you'll be fine, no baby on the way. I've had that scare last month.haha
Thanks. But you would think after being on it for this long now I wouldnt keep having b/t bleeding. Last month I had a week of old brown thick discharge a week before my period. Then like half of day of regualar flow. Wierd to me. Figured things would start adjusting by now. I have lost some weight and have had some stress.
Hmm, if its been a week with bleeding then your best to contact your doctor. I honestly don't think it's any to worry about though; you may just need a stronger birth control method.
Again, if you are going threw some stress, this just may be your bodies way of reacting to it. I hope those sites come in to some use for you. Sorry, I dont know how to turn them into links

I've been on OTCL for 4 months now, and even though they say the breakthrough bleeding/spotting should stop after the 3rd month..they lie. I spot like a week before my period, still. You're still protected against pregnancy! (:
