Breakthrough bleeding and Nuvaring?

Hello,

After being off birth control for approximately 6 months, I went back on Nuvaring in January. 9 days ago I had what I thought was break through bleeding but it turned into a full period. I put in another Nuvaring hoping it would stop the flow, but I'm still having a light flow 9 days later. Should I take out the ring and finish this pseudo-period? If I do, can I reuse this same one? Should I just ride it out? Another time when I had this same problem, I rode it out and my period lasted over two weeks.

I'm still having my period and my doctor put me on Progesterone. It's a very low dose but last night I had a slight headache before I went to bed and took some Anacin. I woke up in the middle of the night with horrible nausea and pains in my torso that felt like someone was taking a knife and stabbing me. They lasted for a few hours and I still feel quite a bit of pain and discomfort this morning. Does anyone know if progesterone can cause these side effects? What about it's interaction with Anacin?
