I just started back on Nuvaring on Feb 15th. I've used it before and never had a problem, no cramping, no mood swings, and everything ran like clockwork, I'd take it out 3 weeks after the Sunday I put it in and my period would always start sometime between Monday evening and Tuesday afternoon. This time everything has changed, I took it out on Sunday, on Monday I started having really bad cramps, my moods have been up and down, but so far no period.

Not sure what's going on here.. I even resorted to taking a pregnancy test yesterday just to calm my nerves and it was negative. Any suggestions?

This happened to me, just recently, although my circumstance was slightly different; I left my ring in for an extra day (supposed to take it out on the Monday, forgot, took it out Tuesday night). My period would come Wednesday morning/afternoon under normal circumstances, however my period did not come. I was so freaked out that I called my pharmacist in tears and asked if this was normal/to be expected; I have a very crazy work schedule and just simply forgot. She told me that as long as I had otherwise been using the ring correctly (in for 3 weeks, out for 1) that my period may be a bit late, but otherwise should come. It did eventually come that Friday afternoon.

I think your body might just need to re-adjust to the ring cycle; Were you on any other birth control before re-starting the ring? Assuming that you are using it correctly, your period SHOULD come, just possibly not when you expect it to like the last time you were on NuvaRing.
