Thread: using pill and condom, worried about pregnancy...

hey all,

i've had a boyfriend for about 6 years, i was always on the pill, but besides that we always used a condom too. i know that the pill is rather safe, but i just didn't want to risk an unwanted pregnancy. am i paranoid?
a couple of months ago i dumped him since i fell in love with someone else. we had sex, and i asked him to use a condom, while i was on the pill again. sex with this guy is very different to my previous bf... we are very passionate, and i'm starting to think that i don't want to be using a condom anymore :S we tried it without for a short amount of time once and it was soooo much better than with a condom; he also likes it better without. but all i kept doing was worrying about pregnancy. he noticed that i couldn't enjoy myself, so we stopped and got the condom on again

now i'm starting to wonder how worried i actually have to be about this pregnancy issue.
i have been thinking sometimes during the past years about an operation for myself to avoid getting pregnant. however, i'm only 24 now and i am not 100% settled yet whether i want to have children some day. i'm on an off on that issue, usually more negative about it though. and my bf might want to have children someday, our relationship is still young. i don't know if we will stay together forever, so i don't want to have such OP in case he wants to have kids.

i'm using a pill called Petibelle (by Jenapharm), think it's a micro pill, but not sure. i've been taking it for a couple of years now, and i usually take it quite regulary, usually always within a 3 hours zone around the time when i set myself to take it (i started taking it at 7pm for example, and i try to keep it at that time of course, but that's not always possible, or i remember bit later, so i usually take it any time between 7pm to 10pm).... is that safe?? or should i take it on the hour exactly every time?
so far i've always been using condoms, so i never worried about the differences in times when i took the pill. but when i want to stop using condoms i think it might actually matter ...... ?

and if i take the pill every day at the very exact time, should i worry about pregnancy at all? i know the pill is very safe, but it's not 100%
