    Default Nuvaring issues?

    hey everyone, im new here.

I started Nuvaring about a week ago. I haven't had any real problems with it yet. I've been on the patch..and several different pills, which resulted in me just being sick all the time.

The only issue a have with the ring though...

I'm scared that if I get fingered by a guy.. they'll feel it and freak out. I'm not so scared about them feeling it during sex..but just fingering me. It's made me not even want to think about sex, which isn't like me because im an extremely sexual person.

So what do i do? I feel like birth control is a personal matter and you don't need to tell every guy you're considering getting involved with about it,

    Help?

I have heard bad things for guys having sex with girls with that birth control.. Yeah the tip of their penis hurts because its rubbing against it.. and usually guys fingers don't touch all the way up there by your cervix. I'm not sure how far you have to put that thing up there but I'd imagine it goes up pretty far. just try your own fingers and see if you can feel it. I wouldn't worry about it coming out though cause you can have sex with it on so at least that won't happen.
attitude..it follows us around. It can be like a smelly sock or a sweet perfume. Others can tell. Be confident.

I have been on NuvaRing for 3 years. My boyfriend loves it . I can see how some might not. He says that it rubs on the head of his penis in a way that feels good. And generally if you explain to a guy that you have a ring in and how it works , he will be better prepared for it. We have also just taken it out to have sex or play around , and the literature you get with it will explain that you have a 3 hour "window" of sorts where your birthcontrol stills works even if its out. I would not leave it out the full three hours , and it is a risk. READ OVER ALL THE LITERATURE. However , hopefully this birthcontrol will work for you and not make you sick. I love it , I switched to it for the same reason. Keep in mind that infection is associated with it , so try to keep clean. If you use any lube , etc . I have found it usefull to rinse the ring in cool water then put it back when we're done. Its just a safe guard , but I've never gotten an infection from it . A lot of women do .

I wish you the best of luck with Nuva Ring. I absolutely love it and would recommend it .

I have been on NuvaRing for a couple months now, and my boyfriend has not had a problem with it; he says he can feel it during sex, but otherwise has no complaints. If you are in a relationship, just let your boyfriend know that its in there and for him to not freak out (which he shouldn't). If you are being fingered, all I can say is make sure the guy doesn't pull it out by accident -- and if he does, no big, just rinse it off and put it back in. It really isn't a big deal, and if a guy has a problem with it, forget him.
.:. if nothing changed, we wouldn't have butterflies.:.
