Thread: Ovulation Pains while on the Pill

I started taking the Pill about 5weeks ago on the first day of my period. When I first started taking the pill I missed a few days near the end of my period during which I did have unprotected sex. But then about 5 days later I had another period. Three weeks later I took the one week break for my period and although it was 4days late it did come. After not taking it properly the first week I have now been taking it every day like I should.

Now two weeks after my last period I am experiencing Ovulating pains, discharge and nausea. If the pill is designed to stop Ovulation then why am I experiencing everything that comes with Ovulation? I've always gotten ovulating pains every 2weeks after my period on the dot but I thought they would stop once I was on the pill?

I hope you understood my rambling. Any ideas are appreciated!

ummmm maybe these pains have been caused by the mix up with the pills in the beginning? Maybe wait it out another month or 2 and if nothing changes best to see your doctor
