I would say only your doctor can really tell you what will work best for you for sure.
Good Luck!
Hi Everyone,
A couple of years ago I tried the pill for the 1st time to regulate my cycle because my cycles have been irregular since having my last back surgery in 1999. When I 1st tried the pill my legs would cramp up pretty bad and so I stopped taking them. I'm still a virgin so I haven't really seen a need to be on birth control but I'm ready to give it another try to help regulate my cycle. What kinds of birth control would you suggest and are they reasonable price wise? I'll be seeing my family doctor in February for a follow up and thats when I was going to try and get back on the pill.
I would say only your doctor can really tell you what will work best for you for sure.
Good Luck!

maybe you can find something to make the cramps go away, so you can stay on the pill... like taking magnesium supplements and drinking lots of water.
I've actually tried out a few different types of Birth controls, They are all different for everyone, but I tried Nuva ring, And They do say that you can't feel it, but for me, I could when I had sex and I could feel it if I were sitting down and like leaned back on a chair. I could feel it up in there. I've also tried ortho tricylin, (i think thats how you spell it) and I noticed that i gained weight on it. and My periods were a lot lighter, but I got really bad lower pains. I'm currently taking Yasmin. I like ot so far, I've been on it for the past 3 years. Its a light weight hormone pill, So it doesn't lower your sex drive that much, Your periods are lighter and not as long. Though, What I don't like about it, is I do get a bit sick in the mornings, its that gut stomache pain. Everything else on Yasmin has worked great for me. I'm not one to take total advice from, so I would go to your Doctor and see whats best for you, Heres the website for the yasmin pill. Check it out at
