    Hello,

I just started my 2nd week on Microgestin FE 1.5/30 and am noticing some mood swings. Last night I just started crying and wasn't sure why. Is this something that goes away as the body adjusts or is it something I should be concerned about? I was also have nausea but that seems to be easing up a little bit at a time.

    Any experiences/advice are appreciated.

    Thumbs up

I'm not on the exact same birth control that you are, but I also experienced some nausea when I started taking it. That should fade over time, and if it becomes bothersome, take your pill at night and you'll sleep through it! Also, the mood swings are normal because you're suddenly pumping your body full of new hormones and at greater levels then you're used to. If it becomes enough of an issue that it effects your daily life on an extreme level, then I would suggest talking to your doctor. Otherwise, just ride it out until your body adjusts. Don't worry, it'll be ok.
