what a day! (yaz related?)
So, I started taking yaz. My second night of taking it (last night) and I wake up in the middle of the night and start puking like crazy (sry for the disgustingness) I even had to go to the ER! Anyone ever have that severe affect from a birth control pill or did I just have a bug? The dr.s confused me by saying it could be either one so how the heck am I suppose to know? He said:
"Are you sexually active?"
me: "no"
him: "well then you could stop taking it if it's making you sick"
problem: I was planning on like having sex with my boyfriend of over a year once I took the pill for a few months because I wanna be 100% protected from pregnancy so now I have no clue what to do! Because I can't exactly tell my mom that and if it's making me that sick (if that's what it was) then I can't keep taking it because today was HORRIBLE!
Its hard to say if it was yaz that caused that....it seems to have different affects on people...im on yaz and only get hot flushes and mood swings and some other things over a certain time of taking it....maybe take it for a week or 2...if it still makes you sick ask to switch to another pill. If your mom because suspicious just say you'd like to keep track of your periods and when you become sexually active that you want to be protected. Let us know how you go
