Thread: the pill

hi im tweety and im new to womens health and i have a question ok first of all im on the pill how ever the last three days before my rest pills that what i call them i missed taking my pills for three days and then my period came on. i decided not to contiue taking the pill since my boyfriend and i want to have a baby. so a day after my cycle was over we had intercourse so now what i want to know is how long will it before a pregnancy tell will tell me im pregnan? it has been about 3 weeks since my period and few days ago i noticed some spotting and cramping but i dont know if thats from coming off the pill or because im pregnant. i also noticed that ive been urinating very often and feeling like i have to go but then i dont or only a little will come out i took a pregancy test but it came up negative it was one of the less costly ones so is it too early to tell or should i try a different test.

I don't think that you are preganate. If you were, and your 3 weeks in, the test would of shown it. If you are doubt, you can always go to the doctor. I think they do a blood-test, pee in the cup deal. But if you were going to have a baby with your boy-friend? Why were you on the pill in the first place? Sounds kinda sudden to me...make sure your ready!
