Thread: plan b/spotting after period? pleaseee help!!!

okay so i recently took plan b(june15)...had my period june 19.. on time. it was alittle lighter and shorter than normal but not by much. on wed and thur i noticed a very light pink discharge only when i wiped once throughout both of those days. havent had sex since i took plan b. i have been really stressed about the situation. i have very mild cramps and back pain...like where me kidneys are...tingly nipples..constapited... is this normal after taking such a high dose of birth control?

it says on their packaging that light spotting could be a possible side effect so i would assume u are experiencing that. i have taken the plan b pill twice so far...the first time my period started within a few days and i had no side effects afterwards. the second time i took it however i was already pregnant with my daughter and didnt know it so i just took a loss on 50 bucks lol. luckily for me my daughter was born healthy and without problems. i would suggest if you continue to spot after this week to give your gyn a call.
i love this site and yes alot of questions can be answered here but also keep in mind that EVERYONE'S body is different and just because someone else has had a similar experience on that pill does not mean the end results are the same.
