Nuva Ring; Weird Period?

Has anyone who has been/is on the Nuva Ring experienced later than normal periods? My boyfriend and I practice safe sex on both his and my part, and this is the second time now that when I have taken the ring out, my period has been delayed by a day or so.

I know the chances of my being pregnant are next to zero, as like I said both he and I are protected, and we are in a distance relationship at the moment and usually only see each other every second weekend, so we aren't having sex as often as we would if we lived in the same city.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced weird period symptoms while people on Nuva Ring.

I take mine out on Sundays and usually do not start until Wednesday or Thursday and go to the next week, but I still put it back in on Sunday's.

Same for me, I take mine out on Sundays, and I dont start until exactly Sunday morning. Not to worry.

I have been using NuvaRing for 3 years and it delays almost a week now.Its been rather nice to only have my cycle for a day . But I was curious if anyone else noticed their cycle getting lighter over time ? I started NuvaRing before it was advertised everywhere and have been on it longer than a lot of people it seems.

Mine is lightening up....Nuvaring out on Monday, start on Thurs, done by Saturday night....but stress or sickness seems to delay it by a day or two...more so than happened with the pill
