I have been on Modicon for just over a month. A few days after I went on it, I started some breakthrough bleeding, not like a normal period; pink, thin, which lasted about two weeks.

When I started the placebos, I didn't get my period at all. I didn't even get the sore breasts and other symptoms associated with it. Now I've been back to the regular pills for about 3 days and I'm having some dark brown spotting, but not much at all. I've only been on the pill one other time, for about 3 months (Ortho lo) and had bleeding the entire time I took it (miserable experience); hence the switch to Modicon when I finally decided to give it a try again. So I'm unsure if this is normal to not have a period.

I'm a little worried about some other things as well. Just before I started the placebos, I had an intensley sore heel, which developed into some swelling in my calf and ankle and turned into some leg pain. I smoke and I'm 31, so I was a little concerned about leg problems and clots, but decided to take it for a week or so after the placebos to see if I had any problems. Any comments/suggestions would be great!
