Default Switching BC - How Soon Is The New One Affective?

I'm switching from Levora to Ortho Cyclen because PP ran out of Levora. How long should I wait before having sex when I switch? Should I be using condoms for any amount of time?

If you are on the pill, and take it every day, regardless of which one you take, your on the pill..

If you feel unsafe? Then 1 month until the next cycle to be sure.

Be careful of changing over just because one is not available, because your body accepts what it takes in, this new one could be idential, could be weaker, could be stronger..

I assume your Doctor recommended the alternative, but why if it was because you ran out of one?
