Has anyone used the Depot shot Before.

I am scheduled to get this shot, but very nervous about side effects and accuracy.

In the past i used pills and got pregnant. The pills gave me issues; nausea, headaches, loss of appetite, etc.

I hear that people mostly gain weight with this shot and I cant afford to gain anything.

If you have experienced anything from this shot please share your experience or knowledge. I would feel better hearing some testimonies before attempting this.

I have! I had 3 shots and I would never ever do it again.

In my opinion Depo is the equivalent to the devil. Sorry I couldn't be more positive about the experience, maybe someone on here can be...

I guess the two biggest, weight gain and complete emotional instability. If there was ever a time when I thought I was out of my mind, it was then. I'm surprised my husband stuck around, we weren't married at the time, but together.

i've only had one shot (getting my second one soon) and i havnt experienced that much craziness. i didn't get ne period at all the first month but then i had spotting for three weeks straight and now everytime me and my boyfriend mess around or w.e i start spotting again which is annoying but not life changing. umm i thought for sure i was going to gain weight but i still weigh the same as i did before. i don't think i'm any more emotional than i was before i have my emotional freak outs or w.e but i think most girls hav them just cuz lol so i've had a pretty positive experience so far i think other than the spotting which, trust me, is something i can handle after the i went through while on the pill =P
