Injection onto pill?
Hi Everyone
Im new to this site, so sorry if I use the wrong abbreviations etc! Basically... I was on the pill (Yasmin) for 4 years, but as I was awful at remembering to take it, my boyfriend and I decided it would be best if I went onto the contraceptive injection (Depo). I have had one injection about 8 weeks, so only 4 weeks left to go. I have absolutely hated being on it, I have bled EVERY DAY, so I can see how it works as an effective method of contraceptive as I have not felt comfortable having sex with my boyfriend at all, so our sex life has decreased dramatically. Ive had headaches, dizziness, sickness, bloating, everything, but the question I want to ask is about how I would change back onto the pill. When would I begin taking the pill again? I have been told that many women don't get their regular periods back for months, so how would I know when to start taking the pill?! Its all so confusing! Thank you in advance for any replies, they are very much appreciated! |

There's been a lot of discussion about this stuff, maybe read through some of the threads? Certainly talk with your doc or go to your local planned parenthood- they really know the contraceptives.
