Marvelon 28...anyone heard of this BCP?

Hi...I'm new to the site and just received my first ever packs of birth control pills. My doctor perscribed Marvelon 28, anyone on this pill? If so...can you shed some light on its effectiveness in terms of side effects, etc.? I've never heard of this pill before and I've done some net research but I'd like some first hand info...if there's anyone out there who has some.

I do not personally have any experience with this brand. I also tried to look up some information on it as well, but didn't find much. It is simply classified with the others that fall into "the pill" category. I am guessing they must be near the same thing. The only info I could really find was that this is the Canadian version of "the pill". Sorry I couldn't be more help.

HI, I am new to this site as well. Was going through and noticed your question.

I have been using marvelon for the past 5 years. It is fantastic. I use to have very happy periods, cramping and bloating. I found by using the BCP that my periods were lighter..no more cramping and pain.

I also found that I would break out less.
