Yes, you are fine. As long as you are consistent in taking your pills, your "sugar pill" week will not make any difference.
How effective is the pill during the week of your period? I rarely ever miss a pill, but I was wondering whether or not it is safe to have sex while it's the week of your period (before period, or after period) before the next cycle of pills start?
Thanks

Friendship Prayer
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the crotch of the person who screws up your day and may their arms be too short to scratch.
Amen
Whoever said anything was possible obviously never tried slamming a revolving door.
I been on these pills since Jan. and the only time I have missed one was the night before I started the sugar pills for the week so I didn't worry about it and just had my period like normal.
Thanks! I was worried because my boyfriend and I like to have sex without a condom (he doesn't finish in me) we have during that week, before my period. We stop almost always before he gets too close, but there have been those times where he cums as soon as pulling out. ANd I know the BC should keep us covered, but we feel safer using condoms because we don't want any accidents to happen. Sorry for going on and on. Thanks again!
That's great that you want to be very protected, but honestly I think condoms are not necessary if you're on the pill! Unless you make a habit of missing it that is!
Also, the "pull-out" method is not effective in any case, since a man's pre-cum is full of sperm.
We definately do enjoy it so much more when there isn't a condom, but we want to be super safe. We are both in college and have a lot of thing we want to do, before we have kids and to be quite honest and I guess a little selfish, I'm not ready to share him right now. I know that probably sounds horrible, but the fact is we want us time now, and the condoms are reassuring for us. Even though we hate them..lol
Ha!I hear ya!
Off topic, but what are the best condoms to use that feel closest to not wearing one?
