    Default Birth Control/Implanon

I've been on implanon for exactly 4months today and my irregular bleeding is actually getting worse! It went from 13 day periods 20 days off to 10-13day periods 2 days off then another 13 on before 20days off....this is the first birth control i've ever used so would it be reasonable to think that it would take me longer to adjust properly to the implanon then someone who was already on a hormone birth control?

    Hello there sammi
I personally have never tried the implanon but i have a friend who has and she experienced a period straight for 1 month then it stopped for 2 weeks then came back for another 3 weeks or so etc etc and that happened for 5 months before it became regular.

Its different with everyone, your body may just need more time to adjust. If it is worrying you, dont hesitate to contact your doctor. He/she will be able to help you out more.

March 17 was when I put mine in, so thats pretty much coming on my third week. I am loving the implanon, I am out of the habit now of taking the pill every day, which when I first got it inserted I was freaking out the next morning because I didnt take the pill... now its what pill?

I have got my period 29 March a week after I should of got it on the pill, very lightly didn't notice it was there. I don't have any pain and feel that I have lost 3kgs since putting it in.
